Good Friday Walk

THE LONGEST WALK

The walk our Lord took from the Garden of Gethsemane to the hill of Golgotha, was an act of endurance and love that we strive to understand. Today, 200+ faithful Catholics made a 5 mile walk of remembrance carrying a cross on our shoulders to feel in the smallest way what our Lord experienced. Metaphorically, in life, we all have crosses to bear, hardship and suffering to endure. Let us pray for humility and strength to carry our burdens with grace, and for the redemptive power of the Holy Spirit to fill us with gratitude and joy for the opportunity to walk with Christ.
