Knights Of Columbus Membership
Membership in the Knights of Columbus has been a positive, transforming influence in my life. As a member of the Knight of Columbus we strive to do best to serve God and others. We Knights accomplish our personal best service through our founding principals of charity, unity and fraternity.
As a Knight I have had the opportunity to practice the corporal works of mercy, namely:
- Feed the hungry
- Give drink to the thirsty
- Shelter to the homeless
- Visit the sick
- Visit the prisoners
- Bury the dead
- Give alms to the poor
On my own, I found these works to be difficult to do. However with my brother Knights and my family, I have been able to help in small and big ways in exercising these works of mercy and grow my Catholic faith.
